Dorothy's Dolls at the Historical Museum of Port Hueneme

The Port Hueneme Historical Museum Commission announces the premiere of its PEOPLE WHO MADE A DIFFERENCE series, showcasing the prized personal collections of some of the men and women who made a difference during the City of Port Hueneme’s formative years.

“Dorothy’s Dolls,” the first exhibit in the series, features beloved longtime resident Dorothy Ramirez’s extensive collection of dolls from all over the world. Her daughter, Elizabeth Babchuk, will give a presentation on the collection at a special reception on October 2, 11:00 a.m. at the Museum (220 N. Market St). The public is cordially invited to enjoy some refreshments and hear the fascinating stories behind some of the most special items in Dorothy’s prized collection.

"Dorothy's Dolls" will run from October through December, 2014.
